Direct Care Professional (DCP)

DCPs are responsible for meeting the emotional, physical, & medical needs of our clients. The job involves working with seniors, passing medications, and handling medical equipment. DCPs provide dignified care in latter stages of life including hospice, end of life comfort and support.

Wages:

Full-time Direct Care Professional (38-40 hours/week)

*Weekday (Day/Eve) $19.00/hr

*Weekday (Awake Night) $21.00/hr

*Weekend (Day/Eve) $21.00/hr

*Weekend (Awake Night) $23.00/hr

+ full benefits and retirement plan!

Initial Training is $17.00/hour for full-time Arthur's Employees

 

Part-time Direct Care Professional

*Weekday (Day/Eve) $17.00/hr

*Weekday (Awake Night) $19.00/hr

*Weekend (Day/Eve) $19.00/hr

*Weekend (Awake Night) $21.00/hr

Initial Training is $15.00/hour for part-time Arthur's Employees

 

Housing Manager

Each of our Arthur’s homes has a dedicated Housing Manager who keeps the home running smoothly. The Housing Manager ensures a timely and effective method of communicating with families, provides for continuity of care, and supports staff. While we try to keep day-to-day communication during business hours, either the Housing Manager or an assistant is on-call to address your concerns. It is a full-time, salaried position which includes a rent-free apartment, full benefits, and retirement plan.›

*$53,000/year

*$56,250/year after 2 years

Requirements

  • Valid US driver's license
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • No more then 2 moving violations/accidents in the past 3 years, or a conviction for DWI, reckless/careless driving, drug-related offenses, suspended or revoked license
  • Able to lift 70 lbs
  • Able to read, write, speak, understand, and hear the English language
  • Part-time staff required to work 10 shifts/month
  • Full-time staff required to work 38-40 hours/week
  • ACR and Arthur's are drug/tobacco-free environments and perform drug testing. Tobacco may not be used at any time on shift (on the house premises, on a community outing, in a company personal vehicle, on breaks)
  • ACR and Arthur's are legally required to run a Background Criminal Apprehension check and is prohibited by law from hiring anyone convicted by felony
