Arthur’s Senior Care Testimonials

Over the years, Arthur’s has received lots of positive feedback about the care we provide.  We are honored and humbled to receive such kind comments from the families of the people we’ve cared for. I hope their words are compelling to those of you who are wrestling with the decision about placing your loved one in Arthur’s care.

  • My mother was a resident for over 3 years at Arthur’s in Roseville and received amazing care. I moved her from [another facility] to Arthur’s after she fell and broke her hip. The difference in care between the two facilitates was like night and day. – From a Daughter.
  • Her anti-anxiety medication was steadily increased while she was at [another facility], to the point where she was sometimes unable to visit with family or to function as well as she was capable of. The care Mom received at Arthur’s was vastly superior in every way to the care she had received previously. Arthur’s provided a home in the true sense of the word. Staff and residents interacted as one would in a family, eating together, chatting, folding laundry while watching TV. Mom was seen as a real person, not a patient,  and treated with compassion, empathy, and love. Her psychological outlook improved greatly at Arthur’s. – From a daughter.

  • I think this arrangement [at Arthur’s]  is, by far, the most personal and the most positive experience we have had since having to make the many hard decisions that come with caring for an aging parent. – From a daughter.

  • As a trustee for MMY and a retired Public Health nurse with extensive experience in community placements for adults in assisted living and group homes, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of the care model at Arthur’s. MMY’s previous experiences in other assisted living facilities in Arizona and [another facility] in Minnesota were plagued by substandard care despite substantial financial investments. However, since relocating to Arthur’s Place, I have found immense peace of mind knowing that MMY is well-cared for and safe. – From a cousin.

  • My mother lived at the Arthur’s home in Roseville for several years prior to her death.  My sisters and I found the care excellent and the home welcoming and loving.  We never had concerns about Arthur’s, which is not true of other residences she lived at prior to Arthur’s. Arthur’s was the best place my mother lived by far.  We experienced a nursing home, a large senior facility, and a medium sized assisted living facility, in addition to Arthur’s.  The live-in staff apartment posed no concerns to our family at any time, and in fact was a positive in our view.  The care at Arthur’s was superb.  The caring was equally superb.  They have an uncanny ability to select staff that are gentle, kind, and yet able to work well with sometimes cantankerous folks!  I was always treated as a guest in my mother’s home. – From two daughters.

  • Our Mom lived her last months at Arthur’s in Shoreview.  It was a gift to her and to our family that she was able to enjoy her life living in an environment of safety, incredible compassionate care, peace and much love. Mom called Arthur’s her home. Watching Emily or Amy shovel the snow and cut the grass and hearing about their trips to Sam’s or the grocery store gave Mom a sense of normal family living as opposed to the institution environment we so desperately didn’t want for Mom. She perked up at Arthur’s and found much joy and happiness living there. We are grateful! Arthur’s is the ultimate in senior care. – From a daughter.

  • My mother had Alzheimer’s and moved to Arthur’s after being completely miserable at a larger memory care facility. That facility considered her a behavior problem and wanted to put her on psychotropic drugs.  Her behavior completely changed once she was in the home-like atmosphere at Arthur’s and received such kind, loving and skilled care. – From a daughter.

  • My grandmother was a long-time resident of Arthur’s. Before arriving at Arthur’s she had tried various forms of memory care and assisted living with grave results; falling multiple times, additional confusion and irritation due to the sterile and unfamiliar environment, being ignored and unable to get herself to a bathroom after requesting assistance multiple times, etc.

Arthur’s however was a shining light for my family. Once my grandma entered Arthur’s she knew that she was safe. Her anxiety and depression levels plummeted – she was taken off various antidepressants and antianxiety medications as she no longer needed them – and she thrived in a safe, friendly, and professional environment.

Arthur’s has been an excellent choice for my family. I recommend it to everyone that I know whose parent or grandparent is going through a tough time in the sterile and unempathetic assisted living homes that you see popping up like weeds. Arthurs is truly the best choice out there – they are warm, empathetic, and professional. They truly are the best of the best in senior care and their methodologies are cutting edge yet embrace common sense. As a professional customer experience researcher, they have down what other organizations spend millions of dollars trying to capture – true empathy and understanding of their clients’ needs. – From a granddaughter.

  • All staff at Arthur’s was consistently professional.  We, as family, were always consulted regarding his medical, social, and psychosocial concerns/ needs. Our father wanted to be “HOME” to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He would consistently call staff his daughters’ names since he felt he was “HOME”. If I was bringing him back after church, a doctor appointment, etc. I could alert staff that I was on my way. Staff would always meet our father at the door and say “Frank, so good to see you, I have a cup of hot chocolate for you”. He considered this “HOME.”  – From a daughter.
